About the Role
We are currently seeking a qualified On-Farm Refrigeration Service Technician to join our dynamic team in the Southland or Taranaki regions. In this role, you will be instrumental in servicing on-farm milk cooling and tank solutions. If you are a hands-on problem solver who enjoys working in the field and making a meaningful impact, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You Will Be Doing
In this position, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot state-of-the-art milk cooling and dairy automation systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional on-farm service and after-sales support, becoming a trusted representative of technical excellence.
- Providing hands-on customer training to ensure farmers maximize the benefits of their systems.
- Collaborating with contractors, offering technical advice, and assisting with field installations and events such as Field Days.
- Engaging in continuous learning and contributing to the development of training materials and standard operating procedures.
- Reporting insights, competitor activity, and innovations through our customer relationship management tools.
What You Will Bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Trade certification in Refrigeration, Electrical, or Engineering.
- Registration as an Electrical Service Technician or the ability to obtain it.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a service or technical role, with agricultural exposure being a plus.
- Strong fault-finding skills, a good understanding of systems, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with others.
- Proficiency in using technology to manage your schedule and report key insights.
