About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, keen attention to detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. You will have the opportunity to work on various commercial construction projects across Auckland.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will perform all aspects of commercial carpentry, including framing, formwork, fit-outs, and finishing work. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting plans and specifications, and you will collaborate with site teams to ensure project timelines are met. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have proven experience in commercial carpentry, along with a trade qualification or relevant experience. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and possess a strong understanding of construction methods and materials. A full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport are necessary, while Site Safe and other relevant certifications will be considered advantageous.
