About the Role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a permanent position at our flagship store located at 10 Croftfield Lane, Wairau Park, Auckland. This role is a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, working on a rotating roster to accommodate our operations, which run seven days a week. In this role, you will be responsible for installing software and hardware for customers, both in our Techbay and at customer homes, ensuring a positive experience for all clients. We will provide comprehensive training on our systems and machinery to support you as you begin your journey with us. Key responsibilities will include: - Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and providing solutions for customers on desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and various computer peripherals. - Driving sales of Tech2Home services within the sales team, Techbay, and directly with customers. - Processing returns and faulty products accurately, ensuring they are dispatched for repair, replacement, or credit. - Collaborating with suppliers and repair agents to ensure timely repairs or replacements for customers. - Undertaking cashiering and sales duties as required. - Completing necessary training and attending employee meetings related to product knowledge and compliance. - Upholding customer service standards on customer premises, ensuring all privacy and compliance requirements are met. - Following all company procedures and policies, including workplace health and safety requirements. - Performing other duties as reasonably directed, including preparation and execution of stocktake. About You We are seeking a technical expert who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: - A strong technical understanding of computers and computer products. - Excellent customer service skills. - A current, full New Zealand driver’s license. - Retail experience is desirable. - IT certifications or qualifications are a plus. - Availability to work on weekends and public holidays is required.
