About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Driver to join our Rockgas Invercargill team. In this role, you will often work independently following an initial training period. Your primary responsibilities will include handling LPG cylinders, loading and unloading them onto trucks, and making deliveries throughout the Invercargill and Southland area.
Health and safety are our top priorities, so it is essential that you maintain a safe working environment while performing your duties.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should bring a positive attitude and strong energy to your work. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Class 2 vehicle license
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- A high level of physical fitness to manage the movement of LPG cylinders
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
- A solid work ethic, integrity, and adaptability
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours and in various weather conditions
- A Dangerous Goods endorsement is preferred, but we can provide training if you do not currently have one
Please note that the recruitment process for this role will include a medical check, which involves a drug and alcohol test, as well as a criminal record check.
