We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Butchery Assistant. About the Role As a Butchery Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where physical work is a key component of the job. This hands-on role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards in our Butchery Department. You will need to be comfortable working in cold temperatures and handling raw meat and blood. Key Responsibilities - Packing and preparing meat products - Performing and recording temperature checks - Following food safety and hygiene policies - Cleaning work areas to a high standard - Rotating stock to ensure freshness - Filling and maintaining display cases - Assisting customers and delivering excellent service Requirements We are looking for candidates who are physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential, along with being a team player with good communication skills. A willingness to learn and follow established procedures is also important.
