About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Team Leader to oversee our Over 2s spaces, which includes managing two classrooms and guiding a dedicated team of kaiako. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for someone with strong pedagogical knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a genuine love for early childhood education. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the two Over 2s classrooms, fostering collaboration and consistency among the teaching teams. You will support and enhance our school readiness program to ensure our tamariki are confidently prepared for their next steps. Additional responsibilities include modeling best practices, championing high-quality teaching, and guiding continuous growth through reflective practice. You will design, implement, and evaluate a rich and responsive curriculum aligned with Te Whāriki and ECE documents. Regular reviews of policies, practices, and environments will be essential to ensure they meet the needs of all learners. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: - A recognized ECE qualification with current or Full Teaching Registration - Strong leadership capabilities with experience leading teams or classrooms - Excellent pedagogical knowledge and a passion for child-led, purposeful learning - Confidence in curriculum development and internal evaluation - A proactive, positive, and driven approach to mentoring others - A warm and nurturing presence that supports tamariki in thriving This is a full-time position, with flexibility available for the right candidate.
