About the Role The Auckland Explorer operates open-top double-decker buses seven days a week, 364 days a year, with service hours from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Our shifts are approximately 9.5 hours long and follow a rolling roster, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule without late nights. As a driver for the Auckland Explorer, your primary responsibility will be to transport passengers across Auckland City while ensuring they receive a pleasant and engaging service experience. Our buses feature a commentary system powered by an app, allowing you to enhance the sightseeing experience for our passengers. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of Aotearoa and the ability to engage confidently with a diverse range of people. - A valid Class 4 license with a passenger (P) endorsement. - Previous experience in the tourism industry is advantageous. - A positive outlook and a great attitude. - Proficiency with technology.
