About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced enrolled nurse to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 0.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE). In this district nursing role, you will have the opportunity to provide care to a diverse range of patients in the community. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting nursing assessments, care planning implementation, and the evaluation of care for health consumers and their families/whanau, under the guidance of a registered nurse.
- Assisting health consumers with nursing care activities, monitoring changes in their condition, and reporting to the registered nurse as needed.
- Performing other nursing care responsibilities as appropriate to your assessed competence.
- Collaborating with health consumers, families/whanau, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

About You
We are looking for candidates who are passionate, committed, and possess a positive attitude. While previous experience in a surgical, medical, or community setting is desirable, it is not essential. You should be capable of working autonomously and have the physical fitness necessary to meet the demands of the role. A full, clean driver's license is essential for this position.
