In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities You will operate and maintain a range of heavy machinery, including but not limited to diggers, excavators, rollers, and articulated dump trucks. Your duties will also include assisting with earthworks, site preparation, and various construction tasks. It is essential to ensure that all equipment is in good working order and to report any maintenance issues promptly. You will work closely with site supervisors and other crew members to ensure tasks are completed on time and meet our high standards. About You To be considered for this position, you must possess a minimum Class 1 Full New Zealand Drivers License with WTR (Wheels, Tracks, and Rollers) endorsements. Additional Class 2 or Class 4 licenses are advantageous. You should have proven experience operating heavy machinery on construction or civil works sites and be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently when necessary. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a robust work ethic are essential. Please note that all applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
