About the Role
We are currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and reliable individuals to join our team of Support Workers in South Canterbury. If you reside in Timaru or the surrounding areas, we would love to hear from you.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with personal care tasks such as showering and dressing, meal preparation, home help, and engaging in community activities. This is a part-time position, and you will need to be available for some weekend and evening shifts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- A minimum of a Restricted Driver's License and access to your own vehicle
- A reliable and honest character with a high level of integrity
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A commitment to valuing diversity and inclusion
- Eligibility to legally live and work in New Zealand
