About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated Driver to join our team and bring a positive energy to our customers in Wairarapa. In this role, you will often work independently after completing an initial training period. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading LPG cylinders onto trucks and making deliveries throughout the Wairarapa area.
Health and safety are paramount at Rockgas, and we expect all team members to uphold these standards while performing their duties.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- A Class 2 vehicle license
- Previous experience as a delivery driver
- A strong level of physical fitness to handle LPG cylinders
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork
- A strong work ethic, integrity, and adaptability
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours and in various weather conditions
- A Dangerous Goods endorsement is ideal, but we are willing to provide training if you do not have one
Please note that the recruitment process for this position will include a medical examination, which consists of a drug and alcohol test, as well as a criminal record check.
