Kirimana Consultants is a dynamic firm dedicated to delivering high-quality electrical services across various regions. We are currently looking for skilled Electrical Trade Assistants to join our team in Marlborough, contributing to a variety of exciting projects.
About the Role
In this role, you will work alongside our experienced tradesmen and be responsible for a range of tasks. Your duties will include:
- Manufacturing brackets based on engineering specifications while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Fabricating and installing cable trays and supports as required.
- Installing cables in accordance with best electrical practices.
- Installing equipment following engineering guidelines.
- Working under the guidance of your supervisor to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Monitoring work progress and reporting any delays or issues to the Leading Hand or Supervisor.
- Performing other related tasks as reasonably required.
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Effective communication with supervisors, taking ownership of responsibilities, and positively contributing to the team environment are essential qualities we seek.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of one year of experience in a similar role involving electrical installation, repairs, or maintenance, or possess a relevant trade qualification.
- The ability to provide references that support your work history.
Benefits
- Hourly rate: $25 - $30 (waged).
- Minimum of 30 hours per week, with potential for up to 50 hours depending on project demands.
- Workdays from Monday to Saturday.
- Positions available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, Tasman, and Marlborough.
- For those willing to travel between regions, we offer accommodation and other allowances.
If you hold electrical qualifications or demonstrate strong potential but lack the required experience, we may have limited opportunities for training and upskilling.
