About the Role We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative Building Services Coordinator. In this pivotal role, you will support the delivery of high-quality HVAC and building services across major commercial projects. Working closely with the Services Manager, you will coordinate fire, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure our buildings operate seamlessly. This position covers key regions including Christchurch, Otago, Southern Lakes, and Auckland, providing you with the opportunity to contribute to diverse landscapes and flagship builds. What You'll Do - Deliver HVAC and critical building services from the pre-tender phase through to project completion. - Assess and advise on service designs during tender stages. - Collaborate with subcontractors, site managers, and consultants. - Champion quality, safety, innovation, and a Zero Harm approach. - Coordinate internal service elements including mechanical, electrical, and fire systems. - Utilize your foresight to program, schedule, and drive results. - Track quality assurance, timelines, budgets, and subcontractor performance. - Lead with passion, integrity, and a bold approach, as we pride ourselves on doing things differently. Who You Are We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with: - A tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Experience in large-scale commercial construction. - Knowledge of HVAC, hydraulics, fire, and electrical installations. - The ability to read and challenge technical drawings. - Technical confidence with tools like Procore, MS Project, and the Microsoft Suite. - A strong understanding of New Zealand standards, the Building Act, and CCAN. - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, mentor, and lead effectively. - A mindset that embodies our philosophy of One Team, One Dream.
