Our bakery team is recognized for its dedication and passion, and we are excited to expand our team with a new Bakery Assistant. About the Role We are seeking a motivated Bakery Assistant to join our energetic team. This is a full-time position that offers approximately 32-40 hours per week, with working hours from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, including one weekend day. The specific hours and days will be discussed during the interview process. In this fast-paced and hands-on role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: - Finishing and decorating a wide range of bakery products - Packing and presenting products to the highest standards - Contributing to the daily production of baked goods, such as muffins and scones, and assisting with other in-store made products - Maintaining a clean and safe department while adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety standards Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following: - Previous bakery experience is advantageous - A good level of physical fitness, as the role requires being on your feet and lifting boxes of stock - A passion for quality and consistency in baked products - Strong attention to detail - Reliability and a positive attitude toward teamwork Benefits Joining our team means being part of a supportive environment where you can thrive.
