About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter Welder to join our busy workshop in New Plymouth for a temporary assignment running from July 3rd to August 29th. This position is ideal for individuals who are confident in their abilities related to pipework, VG fitting, and general workshop fabrication. Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in a workshop pipe fitter welder role - Proficiency with VG fitting - Pipe tickets are preferred - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - Valid Site Safe certification or the ability to obtain one - Must hold valid working rights in New Zealand - Willingness to pass a drug and alcohol test Duties As a Pipe Fitter Welder, your responsibilities will include: - Performing pipe fitting and welding for a large project - Executing VG fitting tasks - Interpreting drawings and job specifications accurately - Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety standards Benefits This role offers several advantages, including: - Consistent full-time workshop work from July 3rd to August 29th - Competitive pay rate of $35.00 to $40.00 per hour, along with 8% holiday pay and KiwiSaver contributions - Weekly pay schedule - The opportunity to work within a great team environment Temporary Work We understand that temporary work can provide valuable flexibility for those looking to choose when and where they work.
