About the Role
We are currently seeking SESTA Drivers to join our team in Nelson. We have permanent part-time and casual positions available for drivers who will operate routes throughout the Nelson area. The roles are set to commence in Term 2 of 2026, with training provided prior to the start of the school term to ensure you are well-prepared for success.
As a SESTA Driver, your primary responsibility will be to provide safe and reliable transportation for students with special needs, ensuring they arrive at school on time. You will typically drive morning and afternoon shifts during school terms, using a late model vehicle, which will usually be based at your home.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- A physically fit, enthusiastic, patient, and caring attitude
- A clean driving record, with at least two years of holding a Full Driver's License
- A P Endorsement is preferred, but we can assist you in obtaining this
- The ability to pass a medical examination and police background check
