About the Role
We are currently looking for Framing Carpenters and Apprentices to join our dedicated residential construction crew in Christchurch. This is a long-term, full-time position that offers a supportive environment where you will be valued and given the opportunity to enhance your skills in the trade. The wage for this role ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you will assist with framing and general carpentry tasks across various residential builds. You will be responsible for following plans and instructions while maintaining a safe and positive site environment.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, we require the following:
- Qualified Carpenter or current Apprentice
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Preferred experience in residential construction
- Basic tools and reliable transportation
- A valid Site Safe or Construct Safe certification (we can assist with obtaining this)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- All applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
