Drilling Labourer - NZ FIFO

Our company is currently seeking skilled and motivated labourers to join our team in New Zealand's mining sector. About the Role In this permanent position, you will work on a roster of two weeks on and one week off. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting the driller with rods - Helping to set up, dismantle, and move drill rigs - Removing and cleaning core samples - Presenting core samples - Assisting in daily pre-starts - Monitoring and maintaining fuel and oil levels - Performing routine maintenance on rigs - Cleaning drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and tools - Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills: - A full driver’s license with the ability to drive a manual vehicle - New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (work visas are not accepted) - Previous trades experience - A clean criminal history check - Strong health and safety standards - Willingness to work away from home for up to two weeks at a time - Ability to lift over 23 kilograms - Openness to working day or night shifts Benefits In return for your hard work, we offer: - A permanent opportunity within the company - A competitive hourly rate - Travel to and from the work site provided - Accommodation and food supplied during your work period - The chance to work across multiple locations in New Zealand If you are eager to take the next step in your career and are ready to embrace this exciting opportunity, please send your CV to katy.bird@hays.net.nz.
