About the Role
In this role, you will work in the field, focusing on servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining various types of pumps. These may include submersible, multistage, diaphragm, stock watering, as well as pumps used in irrigation and waste applications. You will also spend time in the workshop, where you will troubleshoot and rebuild pumps and work on various irrigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair a diverse range of agricultural, commercial, and domestic pumps.
- Troubleshoot pump issues both in the field and in the workshop.
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team as required.
- Service and repair various irrigation systems.
- Complete service and job reports accurately.
Skills and Qualifications
- Trade qualified as a mechanical fitter or electrician.
- 3 to 5 years of installation or maintenance experience with pumps and irrigation systems.
- Ability to interpret mechanical or schematic designs effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of adapting to and coordinating your daily workload.
- A supportive, customer service-focused approach.
