About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Programme Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support across our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) functions. Your responsibilities will include managing data, coordinating incident processes, preparing reports, and assisting operational teams to ensure compliance while driving continuous improvement throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Data Management
You will manage emails, correspondence, and invoicing, while providing administrative support to HSQE and other business units. Maintaining accurate data in HSQE systems will also be part of your duties.
Incident Coordination
In this capacity, you will triage incidents, create investigation folders, and support the closure of corrective actions. You will also organize logistics for incident review meetings and distribute updates accordingly.
Reporting & Audit Support
You will prepare weekly and fortnightly incident reports and compile data for both internal and client reporting. Supporting audit processes and communicating feedback deadlines will also be essential aspects of this role.
Training & Injury Management
You will assist with HSQE inductions and the coordination of training programs. Additionally, you will support injury management processes by liaising with physiotherapy providers and administrators.
Continuous Improvement
You will contribute to HSQE process improvements and support project work aimed at enhancing our overall health, safety, and environmental practices.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of a High School Education (NCEA Level 3) and a tertiary qualification (NZ Certificate Level 5 or similar) is desirable. We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of administration experience, a strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy is essential. You should be proactive, motivated, and a team player.
