In this leadership position, you will blend hands-on cleaning responsibilities with team supervision and client engagement. You will be responsible for managing cleaning teams across designated sites, ensuring that our service standards are consistently met and that our commitment to health, safety, and excellence is upheld. What You’ll Do In this role, you will supervise and work alongside cleaning teams to ensure service standards are maintained. You will be responsible for implementing staff rosters and cleaning schedules while adhering to set budgets and timeframes. Providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to a diverse team will be key to your success. You will also maintain strong client relationships and promptly address any issues or service variations that arise. Additionally, you will oversee stock and consumables management and ensure timely and accurate timesheet submissions. Leading toolbox talks, team meetings, and safety briefings will be essential to fostering a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within the team. What You’ll Bring We are looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in cleaning supervision or similar leadership roles. A proven ability to manage teams and cleaning operations across multiple or complex sites is essential. You should have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations and cleaning best practices, along with excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. A Certificate or Diploma in Business or Cleaning is preferred, although relevant experience may be sufficient. Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to site needs is a must. You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be solutions-focused with great attention to detail. Previous supervisory or management experience is preferred but not essential. We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, and takes pride in team performance. A proactive attitude and a willingness to tackle challenges are essential. Candidates must have New Zealand work rights, a clean criminal record, a full, clean driver’s license, and a reliable mode of transport.
