Forklift Driver
We are seeking a Forklift Driver to join our team in the baling department at a busy industrial site located in Hamilton. This position is ideal for individuals who hold a current OSH certificate and excel in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and collaborative environment.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to efficiently load, unload, stack, and transport cardboard, pallets, and finished goods. You will also operate and monitor cardboard baling machinery to compact waste materials and load cardboard waste into the baler while removing completed bales.
Additional responsibilities include securing, labeling, and stacking bales for storage or dispatch, conducting daily pre-start checks on forklifts and baler equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. It is crucial to follow all health and safety procedures and site policies, as well as report any equipment faults, safety hazards, or maintenance needs in a timely manner. You may also assist with general yard or production duties as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have a current OSH certificate. An (F) endorsement is beneficial, but not mandatory. Previous experience operating a baler or working in a manufacturing or recycling environment is preferred.
We are looking for candidates with a strong awareness of workplace health and safety, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a good level of physical fitness for an industrial environment. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions are essential traits for success in this role.
