About the Role We are currently seeking a Fleet Service Technician / Tyre Fitter to join our team in Gisborne. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' fleet vehicles. Your responsibilities will include tyre maintenance, on-site and in-store servicing and fitting, as well as maintaining accurate records and job cards. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: - A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License - An NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Tyre Fitter in a commercial setting - The ability to work 45 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with the flexibility to undertake on-call weekend work as required - Physical fitness to carry out manual work - Excellent customer service and communication skills - The ability to work both as part of a team and independently, delivering high-quality work Benefits In return for your hard work, we offer: - Competitive remuneration of $27 to $33 per hour, with regular performance and pay reviews - Great opportunities for advancement and growth within the Bridgestone business - A full uniform, PPE, and comprehensive on-the-job training - Attractive staff and family benefits and discounts If you are someone who is willing to put in the effort and eager to learn new skills, we would love to hear from you.
