Experienced Roofers - Wellington or Palmy

Our team values reliability and craftsmanship, and we are currently seeking experienced Sheet Metal Roofers to join us in Wellington and Palmerston North. About the Role In this role, you will be involved in both commercial and residential roofing projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Roof Installation and Repairs: Installing new sheet metal roofing systems and performing repairs on existing roofs as needed. - Metal Fabrication and Cutting: Measuring and cutting sheet metal with precision to ensure a proper fit for the roof structure. - Waterproofing and Sealing: Applying protective coatings or sealants to maintain the weather resistance of roofs. - Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols, including working at heights and utilizing necessary protective gear. - Team Collaboration: Working closely with other tradespeople, project managers, and clients to ensure projects are executed smoothly. - Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Identifying roofing issues such as leaks, corrosion, or installation challenges and addressing them effectively. What We're Looking For We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications: - Proven experience in sheet metal roofing. - Relevant certifications, including Working at Heights. - A full New Zealand driving licence. - A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail. - The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. - A commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations. Requirements Candidates must meet the following requirements: - Undergo a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. - Demonstrate a strong track record of reliability and delivering quality work. - Hold valid working rights in New Zealand.
