We are excited to announce a rare opportunity for a Parts Advisor to join our dedicated team in Porirua. About the Role As a Parts Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our two-person Parts Department, collaborating closely with our Service Department under the guidance of our Service & Parts Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and assisting customers with energy and professionalism, ensuring that their needs are not only met but exceeded whenever possible. Key responsibilities include: - Managing daily sales and activities within the Porirua Parts Department - Coordinating with the Service Department to procure parts necessary for servicing and repairs - Ordering parts required by customers and the dealership efficiently and accurately - Preparing quotes, purchase orders, and other documentation needed for product acquisitions We are seeking an individual with a solid background in automotive, retail, or hospitality who possesses a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build meaningful relationships and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers. Requirements In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess: - Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to navigate our online dealer management system - Strong organizational skills and the capability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a professional phone manner - Confidence in addressing challenging customer concerns to achieve satisfactory outcomes for both the customer and the business - A current driver’s license Please note that Saturday work is required; however, we maintain a fair rotating roster.
