About the Role
We are currently seeking individuals to join our team as event security personnel. In this role, you will deliver friendly and professional customer service to event attendees, organizers, and stakeholders. You will monitor event environments, identify potential risks, and respond promptly to incidents.
Your responsibilities will include conducting security screenings, such as bag checks, scanning, and validating tickets and accreditations. You will assist with crowd direction and movement to ensure events run safely and smoothly. Additionally, you will support vehicle and gate access control in accordance with venue procedures. Clear communication will be vital as you work to de-escalate situations and provide assistance when needed.

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Hold (or be able to obtain) a current New Zealand Certificate of Approval (COA) security license
- Possess a clean criminal conviction record
- Have previous experience in security, hospitality, customer service, or a related field (preferred)
- Maintain flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand and be at least 18 years old
