About the Role
As a Management Accountant at KGR, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful financial information across our group. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Developing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Ensuring end-to-end IRD compliance (GST, PAYE, FBT)
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring data integrity
- Providing practical financial support and insights to Business and Branch Managers
- Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contributing to the evolution of finance systems, processes, and controls

Requirements
Our ideal candidate is a commercially minded accountant who enjoys close collaboration with various stakeholders. You should take pride in getting the details right while also being able to step back to interpret the numbers and assist leaders in making informed decisions.
Key requirements include:
- Solid experience in preparing management accounts and forecasts
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities
- Confidence in working with accounting systems and complex data sets
- A CA qualification is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered
- Effective communication skills, particularly with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- A collaborative mindset and a professional approach
