About the Role We are currently seeking two Leading Freight Operators to join our Christchurch team due to internal movements. This position requires availability for the Night Shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. As a Leading Freight Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely, efficient, and safe handling of freight. Your efforts will help us achieve our target delivery goals, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and without damage. We are looking for candidates who are friendly, energetic, and possess a positive, customer-focused attitude along with a reliable work ethic. Additional key responsibilities include: - Safely and securely loading and unloading freight for both road and rail units. - Utilizing on-time scanning to efficiently manage freight and achieve branch operational objectives. - Operating all equipment in a safe and proficient manner. - Maintaining positive working relationships and effective communication within the team. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing duties as necessary.
