About the Role We are currently seeking a proactive Retail Manager to join our expanding team at Mitre 10 MEGA Petone. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in retail or operations, ideally with experience in big box retailing or familiarity with our product range. Leadership experience and a commitment to delivering quality service and products to our customers are essential for this role. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service for our retail customers while driving sales and overseeing the seamless operation of your portfolio. You will support and motivate your team to perform at their best every day, ensuring that we deliver in full and on time. Additionally, a strong emphasis on Health & Safety will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following: - A solid understanding or background in inventory management and pricing - A passion for customer service excellence and the ability to manage customer expectations effectively - Strong organizational skills, with the capacity for forward planning and offering innovative solutions - Leadership capability, including a solid understanding of how to motivate and inspire teams to achieve service excellence This role reports directly to the Assistant Store Manager and is part of our store leadership team.
