About the Role
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Finance Administrator to join our Accounts Payable team in Christchurch. This crucial position will contribute to the seamless operation of our Accounts Payable processes and systems, reinforcing our commitment to quality, integrity, and sustainability within the construction sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Processing and paying supplier invoices
- Conducting daily bank reconciliations and transfers
- Performing monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing emails and addressing inquiries from suppliers and the wider team
- Setting up new suppliers
- Providing coverage for the receptionist and handling general administrative tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
- Experience in accounts payable or contract administration is a significant advantage
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong numerical skills and a keen attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly growing company
