About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our high-performing team. This is a permanent, full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, along with rostered Saturdays.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, including performance AMG models and the latest EQ electric range. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art tools and technology, supported by our factory resources. We emphasize high-quality repairs that meet both Mercedes-Benz and Ingham standards.
You will collaborate with a supportive team dedicated to customer excellence and will have the chance to mentor apprentices while contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A National Certificate in Automotive Engineering or an equivalent international qualification
- Experience in diagnostics, mechanical, and electrical repairs
- Previous experience with Mercedes-Benz, European, or other prestige brands is advantageous
- Warrant of Fitness (WOF) certification is preferred but not essential
- A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence
- A genuine passion for luxury vehicles and providing premium service
