About the Role We are currently seeking a full-time Equipment Technician/Diesel Mechanic to join our team at the Wellington Branch. This is an exciting time for us as we have recently been appointed the New Zealand importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off-road industrial machinery. In this role, you will utilize your diagnostic and mechanical skills to service, maintain, and repair a diverse range of heavy machinery, primarily in the forestry and construction sectors. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic professional who is committed to providing quality, efficient, and precise service and maintenance outcomes. Your ability to go above and beyond in this critical support role will be essential to our team’s success. Requirements To excel in this position, you will need: - A strong commitment to health and safety, which is our top priority at CablePrice. We prioritize looking after ourselves and each other. - A Heavy Diesel and/or relevant Automotive Qualification. - Prior experience with Tigercat equipment is advantageous. - Mechanical capability and technical skills to diagnose faults and service heavy commercial vehicles. - Excellent diagnostic abilities combined with analytical thinking to effectively navigate complex challenges. - Confidence in your computer literacy and a customer-focused mindset. - A resilient, 'can do' attitude that aligns with our values of being tough, reliable, and productive.
