About the Role We are currently seeking a qualified MRI Diagnostic Radiographer (MRI MIT) to join our motivated and innovative MRI department at Wellington Regional Hospital. Your primary responsibilities will be based in the MRI department, where you will also be required to participate in the MRI on-call roster. As you progress in your role, there may be opportunities to take on additional weekend shifts. About the Team/Service/Location Our MRI department is equipped with two Siemens scanners, including a 3T and a 1.5T machine, and we provide a 24/7 on-call service to support our acute workload. We offer a wide range of tertiary scanning services, which include breast biopsy, cardiac, advanced neuro, research, pediatric, geriatric, and ICU imaging. The work can be both rewarding and challenging, allowing you to apply your skills and knowledge to achieve positive patient outcomes. If you have not previously worked with some of these imaging techniques, we will provide additional training and support. We also have a successful training program for MRI MIT trainees and actively encourage MIT students to engage with our department.
