About the Role We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Business Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Service Delivery Manager in leading the successful delivery of contracted services in the Manawatu region and the wider National Regional Equipment Pool. As the Business Manager, you will be instrumental in coordinating operational activities and ensuring that our services are provided efficiently, effectively, and in line with customer and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities In this position, you will: - Coordinate resources and manage daily operations to ensure timely delivery of contract outputs. - Collaborate closely with the Service Delivery Manager to prioritize workloads, develop strategies, and oversee budgets and policies. - Capture and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), metrics, and service quality. - Lead or contribute to business improvement initiatives and compliance activities. - Monitor and manage team performance, ensuring that technical and supervisory capabilities align with operational demands. - Support business resilience efforts, including security compliance and risk management. - Foster a collaborative team culture and drive innovation in service delivery. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: - A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Business Management, preferably within a commercial environment. - A relevant qualification in Business Management. - Proven leadership skills, including experience in people management. - Financial literacy to forecast and manage all aspects of service delivery financials. - A strong understanding and application of business management competencies, including planning, financials, scope, time, quality, HR, communications, risk, procurement, and integration. - The ability to obtain and maintain NZDF Secret Security or higher vetting.
