About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Residential and Commercial Roofers to join our team for high-demand projects throughout Auckland. What You Will Be Doing In this role, no two days will be the same. Your tasks will include: - Reading plans and preparing materials - Erecting ladders and scaffolding - Laying underlay and waterproofing - Cutting and securing roofing around chimneys, vents, and edges - Installing and working with various roofing systems, such as long run steel roofing, corrugated iron, metal tile roofing, clay and concrete tiles, asphalt shingles, slate, and flat roof membranes—common roofing types across New Zealand - Performing timber framing and aluminum ceiling work - Installing plasterboard and more What We Are Looking For We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - A minimum of three years of hands-on roofing experience, with familiarity in long run steel roofing and other common New Zealand roofing systems - Trade qualifications, while ideal, are not essential - A solid toolkit and reliable transportation - Two recent work references - A strong focus on safety - The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen - A Class 1 license is preferred What Is In It for You?
