About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our Newmarket store. This role represents an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their careers in fashion retail. As part of our dynamic team, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a crucial role in driving sales and leading your team to success.
In this position, you will enjoy a vibrant retail environment where no two days are the same. You will have the chance to enhance your leadership skills through personalized training and build strong relationships with your store team while connecting with our diverse customer base.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in retail store management
- Proven track record in achieving sales, wages, and performance targets
- A passion for coaching and leading teams
- Familiarity with performance management practices
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Ability to manage rosters effectively
- Previous experience in visual merchandising
- Flexibility to work late nights, public holidays, and weekends when needed
- Understanding of fashion trends and a genuine love for Forever New
