About the Role
We are currently seeking a Commercial Fleet Service Technician / Tyre Fitter to join our team at our Timaru commercial store. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our customers' fleet vehicles. Your responsibilities will include tyre maintenance, servicing and fitting both on-site and in-store, as well as maintaining accurate records and job cards. Strong communication and customer service skills are vital, as you will interact directly with customers.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- A full, clean New Zealand Driver's License
- Some experience working with tyres, or a strong willingness to learn about the industry
- Availability for full-time work, including on-call weekend shifts as needed
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently, ensuring high standards of work are consistently met
