These positions are hands-on and require a good level of physical fitness, as the work involves performing physical tasks for extended periods. We are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join our ongoing civil works projects throughout the Waitaki region. This role is particularly suited for those with a solid background in civil labouring, who also possess confidence in operating machinery or small plant equipment. Requirements - Experience in civil labouring, construction, drainlaying, asphalt laying, and channel and curb work - Proficiency in operating machinery or small plant equipment, such as rollers, loaders, and diggers - A full Class 1 driver’s licence (additional licences and WTR endorsements are advantageous) - A strong focus on physical fitness and safety awareness - Reliability and the ability to work effectively within a team - A tidy, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude, along with good communication skills - Ability to pass a drug test Benefits We offer ongoing full-time work in Oamaru and the wider Waitaki region, along with competitive weekly pay rates.
