About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Health and Safety graduate to coordinate Health and Safety efforts at our Auckland and Hamilton sites. In this role, you will be supported in driving our safety culture forward by implementing effective strategies across our operations, establishing robust frameworks, and facilitating positive change.
You will play a key role in fostering a strong Health and Safety culture by implementing efficient safety systems, managing risks, and providing proactive coaching to ensure the safety and compliance of our team. This position is perfect for a recent graduate who is looking to develop a career in Health and Safety, and we will provide all necessary training.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Eagerly seek knowledge in all areas of Health & Safety.
- Possess strong influencing and engagement skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Hold a relevant qualification in health and safety or a related field, or have a foundational understanding of New Zealand Health and Safety regulations.
- Be passionate about delivering effective injury prevention strategies.
- Demonstrate the ability to coach team members while fostering a culture of health, safety, and well-being.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration and trust-building.
- Show resilience in the face of challenges.
