About the Role
We are seeking a customer service professional to join our five-star team. The role involves providing a warm welcome to our guests and ensuring they have a tailored experience throughout their stay. You will be part of a collaborative team that focuses on delivering a high-end, bespoke guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting with luggage, delivering room service, promoting in-house and external activities, driving guests in our shuttle service, and providing luxury airport transfers from Queenstown Airport to Millbrook Resort. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong customer focus, exhibiting honesty and responsibility, and capable of working independently while also supporting our front office operations.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Previous customer service experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or resort environment is desirable
- A genuine passion for service delivery and the hospitality industry
- Professional appearance and presentation
- In-depth local knowledge along with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an effective team
- Physical fitness is required for manual handling tasks
- Resilience and the ability to respond to a variety of situations with a flexible, collaborative approach
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts, including nights
- A full, clean Driver's License is essential; a P class endorsement is preferred but not mandatory (we will assist you in obtaining this)
Location: Arrowtown, Queenstown
Hours: Permanent, full-time position with guaranteed hours between 30 to 40 per week
Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.00 gross per hour, depending on experience
