About the role:
We are seeking a Workbank Planner/Scheduler to join our team in Christchurch. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of our transformation journey, leading the development and coordination of integrated plans spanning 18 to 24 months. Your focus will be on ensuring that our infrastructure work is strategically aligned and delivered efficiently.
You will collaborate closely with project and finance teams, prepare reports, forecast costs and resources, and ensure that our delivery schedules are coordinated. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments and engaging with stakeholders, making you a key contributor to our planning success across the South Island.
What you will bring:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in infrastructure, rail, or large-scale project planning
- Strong skills in developing and maintaining integrated schedules
- Proficiency with planning tools such as P6, MS Project, and Excel
- A solid understanding of forecasting, budgeting, and data-driven reporting
- A proactive and inclusive approach to communication and teamwork
- Strong organizational skills and a focus on continuous improvement
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, or a similar field
- A full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence
- A willingness to travel as needed
