We are currently seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative (TMO) to join our dynamic team in Hamilton.
About the Role
We are looking for a fully licensed TMO with a minimum of 6 to 12 months of experience in traffic management. In this role, you will play a vital part in keeping traffic flowing smoothly and ensuring the safety of work sites. We offer full-time hours, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, along with the possibility of day and occasional night shifts. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work primarily in the Waikato region, with future projects extending to Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Taupo, and Taranaki.
Key responsibilities include operating traffic lights, working on State Highways, and effectively placing cones using a sign truck. We value reliability, hard work, and a strong sense of teamwork.
Requirements
- Fully licensed TMO with a practicing warrant (US 31960) and at least 6-12 months of experience
- Proficiency in traffic light operation
- Experience working on State Highways and using a sign truck for cone placement
- A reliable and hard-working attitude, combined with a strong ability to collaborate within a team
- A valid Class 1 New Zealand driver's license
