As we continue to evolve and adapt our services, we remain committed to meeting the changing needs of our customers. About the Role We are currently looking for a Courier Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the loading, unloading, and delivery of freight. You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their parcels in a timely and efficient manner. Requirements To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements: - A Level 4 qualification or one year of relevant experience - Physical fitness and agility, as this role involves significant physical activity, including lifting items up to 25 kg and being active for up to 10-12 hours a day - A valid and clean NZ driver's license or an equivalent overseas license, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle - Ability to pass a drug test - A clean criminal record - Strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a professional attitude - Good driving habits and time management skills - Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid work visa Job Duties As a Courier Driver, your responsibilities will include: - Unloading, sorting, and loading freight at the depot as required - Completing pickups and deliveries to residential and business areas according to schedule or as directed by staff - Scanning all freight in compliance with company policies and procedures - Managing and collecting requests for ad-hoc freight collections as per company guidelines - Completing necessary run sheets and documentation - Selling courier labels and satchels to customers in accordance with company policies - Maintaining and regularly washing the provided motor vehicle, reporting any damage to management - Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any complaints - Participating in training sessions as organized by management - Performing other tasks as directed by the Director Benefits We offer competitive wages ranging from $24 to $30 per hour, with a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. Other Information The successful applicant will be expected to start working at our Whakatane depot.
