About the Role We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Barista to join our supportive team at Pioneers Café, located at our Russley Road office in Christchurch. This position requires working Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. In this role, you will be responsible for: - Preparing coffee and other beverages, utilizing your experience to work independently. - Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the café. - Providing exceptional food and beverage service to team members, customers, and visitors. - Fostering a welcoming and caring atmosphere in the café. - Collaborating closely with and supporting your colleagues. About You To excel in our nurturing environment, you should possess: - Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café setting. - Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks including coffee preparation and food service. - A friendly and approachable demeanor, demonstrating strong empathy. - A professional and reliable attitude, with the capability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere.
