About the Role We are seeking a physically fit, trustworthy, and reliable cleaner to join our team. This position requires a commitment of 30 hours per week, with the expectation that the candidate will work six days a week, including both morning and evening shifts. As a cleaner, you will be responsible for delivering effective and efficient cleaning services as directed by our company’s director. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: - Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors. - Utilizing vacuuming equipment to clean carpets and providing additional treatments such as shampooing or stain removal when necessary. - Carrying out general cleaning duties, including disposing of rubbish from bins, dusting furniture and room accessories, and cleaning various surfaces such as countertops, sinks, basins, toilets, windows, and glass surfaces. - Understanding and adhering to site security protocols while completing work within the specified hours. - Maintaining an updated site key and card register. - Reporting any cleaning issues or complaints to the director and notifying them when equipment requires repairs. - Promptly communicating any incidents or accidents to the director.
