About the Role MEGA Petone, with a team of approximately 150 members, requires an individual who is highly driven and possesses strong leadership and influencing skills. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing profitability, growth, and operational efficiency across all areas of the store. You will lead and work alongside your team, ensuring that customer service remains the primary focus while also addressing key aspects such as stock management, maintaining store standards, operational efficiency, and health and safety. Reporting to the General Manager, we are looking for candidates who have: - A proven track record in retail leadership - A passion for customer service excellence and the ability to foster a customer-first culture - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the capability to lead change and implement improvements - The ability to motivate, coach, and empower teams to perform at their best - An understanding of retail drivers, including inventory management, margin, and sales performance This role is fast-paced and varied, requiring a high level of adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
