Radiology Assistant, North Shore Hospital - Permanent Full Time (1 FTE)

This permanent full-time role involves working rostered shifts, totaling 80 hours over a fortnight, and provides a chance to contribute to enhancing the patient experience in a vibrant hospital setting.
About the Role
As a Radiology Assistant, you will be an essential part of our clinical team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient patient flow within the Radiology department while providing exceptional support to Medical Imaging Technologists and nursing staff. This dynamic position involves direct interaction with patients, offering compassionate care, assisting during imaging procedures, and coordinating department workflow.

About You
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting with a focus on patient care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a true team player mentality
- Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to manage administrative tasks related to patient flow
- Capability to assist with patient transport and provide hands-on support during imaging procedures
- A NZQA Level 3 certificate in Care Support or a similar qualification (preferred)
- Previous experience in a Radiology Department (an advantage)
