We pride ourselves on our strong team culture and commitment to excellence in every project we undertake. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team. This position is available for immediate start for the right candidate. The role is expected to last approximately six weeks, but there is potential for a long-term opportunity for those who demonstrate the right skills and work ethic. Key Tasks In this role, you will be responsible for: - Surface preparation, including sanding, masking, and priming - Spray painting vehicles to a high standard - Polishing and finishing painted surfaces - Performing general workshop duties - Maintaining cleanliness in the paint shop Requirements To be successful in this position, you should possess the following skills and attributes: - Proven experience as a spray painter, with experience in the automotive industry being advantageous - A reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude - The ability to work under tight deadlines - Capability to work both independently and as part of a team Benefits We offer competitive compensation, including: - Hourly pay ranging from $28 to $30, plus 8% holiday pay - A central location in Christchurch - An immediate start for the right candidate - Potential for ongoing work based on performance - A supportive team environment with a positive work culture Please note that we are unable to consider applicants without a valid work visa due to the timeframes involved.
