About the Role We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Healthcare Assistants to join our General Surgery ward. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the multi-disciplinary team as we care for patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures both pre and post-operatively. This includes working with patients in step-down HDU/ICU settings and those with trauma. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, strong prioritization abilities, and effective time management skills. Key Responsibilities - Attend to patient needs with compassion and diligence - Assist Registered Nurses with delegated tasks - Ensure smooth patient flow within the department - Maintain a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff - Support the nursing team in delivering high-quality care About the Service Our Surgical Department is renowned for its excellence in patient care.
