Kirimana Consultants is a leading provider in the aluminium fabrication and installation industry. We are currently seeking experienced Aluminium Fabricators and Installers to join our team for immediate work on a variety of exciting projects in Marlborough.
About the Role
We are looking to employ several skilled installers to work alongside our experienced trade teams. The ideal candidates will be reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious individuals.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Reading drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and installation procedures.
- Selecting, cleaning, and preparing aluminium materials for each job, with a solid understanding of different sheet metal types.
- Shaping and bending aluminium sections using the appropriate tools and machinery.
- Aligning and joining components accurately using the correct mechanical fixings, bolts, and rivets.
- Ensuring cost-effective use of materials and adhering to standard procedures for manufacturing and installation.
- Inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality.
- Maintaining tidy and safe work areas in line with OSH housekeeping standards.
- Carrying out other duties as requested by supervisors.
You will be expected to work with precision, communicate clearly with your supervisor, and take ownership of your responsibilities. A commitment to completing work to a high standard within set timeframes and actively contributing to a team environment is essential.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an aluminium fabricator or installer, or possess a trade qualification or higher.
- The ability to provide references to support your experience.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay and conditions, including:
- An hourly rate of $25 to $30 (waged).
- A minimum of 30 hours of work per week, with the potential for up to 50 hours depending on project requirements.
- Work days are Monday to Saturday, with roles available across Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Manawatu/Horowhenua, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, Tasman, and Marlborough.
- For those willing to travel between regions, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.
